This is the fifth year of the drive and the focus is on buying bonds to help the government in the clean-up after The Great War in Europe. The page one banner headline and subhead announce the success of the drive and that $40,000 over the goal of $260,000 was raised in just 18 hours. Page two and three are thank you letters and encouragements from management about the drive. A photograph of the Victory Drive committee is on page three along with another explainer on the payment plan. Page four is a reprint of an essay from Literary Digest about the sacrifices of war.
