The Chicopee Public Library has something for everyone: a lecture, musical performance, computer class, health talk, a book to read, a CD to listen to, a DVD to watch, or access to an online database like

Check out these on-going series and find something that is right for you. Or if there isn't anything for you, email us at and let us know what programs you would like to have at the library.


Open Computer Lab: Each Monday from 2-3pm in the Computer Lab, a Reference Librarian will be on hand to answer whatever computer questions you might have. Come with a problem, leave with an answer. No registration is required, limited to 10 people.

Scrabble Club: The Scrabble Club meets weekly on Fridays at 10am. Come once or come every week; no registration is required and all are welcome. Coffee and refreshments are provided. Each Tuesday at 1pm the Scrabble Club meets at the Chicopee Falls Branch.


Needlecraft Circle: Get together with other people interested in needlecraft. Trade ideas, share patterns, and make friends. Meets bi-weekly on Wednesdays at 6pm.


Health Talks: Health related talks are scheduled throughout the year. Unless otherwise specified, registration is not required.

Book Discussion Group: On the third Tuesday of each Month the Book Discussion group meets to discuss the book of the month.
