Description

This is a collection of three scrapbooks created by Tadesuz S. Chmura, Chicopee resident and City Employee for the Water Department in 1938. Two scrapbooks are related to the 1938 flood and contain newspaper clippings and snapshots taken by Chmura while working for the water department. The third scrapbook is a record of the 300th anniversary parade and weekend of events held on July 3-4, 1938. It is made up of snapshots by Chmura and newspaper clippings from the local newspapers.
