There are several people on the trolley, and the upper right corner of the image has a written note "Chicopee Mass 1887." The trolley has a sign along the top that reads "Chicopee & Springfield," and one on the front reading "Chicopee 81." The back of the photo (not pictured) reads "Chicopee, Mass 1887, corner Exchange & Center St."
