Chicopee Centennial Parade, High Button Shoes

Chicopee (Mass.)--Centennial celebrations, etc.

A color photograph of a float decorated with a pot of gold, a rainbow, and a large old-fashioned shoe. The rainbow reads "Thank Your For A Great 60 Yrs," and a banner on the side of the float is partially obscured but reads "Bail [covered with another banner reading '100 Years Together'] Area; Since High Button [probably 'shoes']. The float is being pulled by a horse, and has several people sitting on or standing around it. Because the side banner is not fully visible, the float sponsor is unknown. There is a blue truck behind the float with a clown leaning into the cab.
