A black and white group portrait of 13 men in Navy blues with caps. The front row is seated, the back row is standing, and there is a brick building in the background with some ivy and a tree. The bottom of the images is labeled "CO II - MACH. MATES - 1943; U.S. NAVAL TRAINING SCHOOL UNIVERSITY of MINN." There is a photographer logo in the lower right corner of the image. The reverse of the photograph is identified as Kodak paper, suggesting this is a circa-1990s reprint of the original photograph. The picture is accompanied by a photocopied paper with several signatures on it, likely copied from the back of the original photograph. A small note has been added in the lower left corner in pencil, reading "logo," to maintain the correct orientation since the signatures are in all directions.
