Vols._Company B. He served with the company in all duties and movements until May, 1863._Then, on account of hernia, he was sent to St. James Hospital, at New Orleans, and stayed there from May 16th to December 9, 1863. February 25, 1864, he was detached from the regiment and ordered to report at the draft rendezvous at Boston, Mass._He was employed in guarding recruits and conscripts._July 5, 1864. He was assigned to the duty of drilling volunteers.
