This is a postcard of an oval seal for the Bon Homme Richard. At the top of the seal are the words "I've just begun to fight!" The seal has images of an older-style ship with sails (likely the first Bonhomme Richard, a Navy ship from 1765); several planes in the air; a WWII-era aircraft carrier (presumably the Bon Homme Richard); the anchor/wings/shield symbol of the Navy; the words "U.S.S. BON HOMME RICHARD"; and the signature of Mrs John S McCain, who launched the ship in 1944 (wife of Vice Admiral John S McCain Sr.). The post card's address and correspondance on the back is left blank.
