The image shows four people standing outside a few houses with woods in the background. The person in the left is cut off so just their leg and back is in view. The person to their right appears to be a woman standing in profile and holding a baby in a sling on her back. The person to her right appears to be topless and wearing a skirt. Their stomach is distended and perhaps they are pregnant. On the right stands another figure in profile. 53 is printed in black ink on the back of the photograph.
