Description

The image shows a white sign weighed down by what appears to be sandbags against a background of trees. The sign reads, "So when we reach the 'Isle of Japan' with our caps at a jaunty tilt / We'll enter the city of Tokyo on the roads the Seabees Built" with the attribution "Third Marine Div. 2nd. Raider Reg." written in the bottom right corner. 53 is printed in black ink on the back of the photograph.
