The image is of a wedding party standing in front of a church. The group is mostly what appears to be bridesmaids and groomsmen in matching dresses and suits. There are two doorways of the church seen in the back. "Domum Dei," meaning "house of God" in Latin is engraved over the left door. The engraving over the right is cut off, but "Deget" or "Decet," meaning either "he must" or "it should be," can be seen. is printed on black ink on the back of the photograph.
