The image shows a parade. The main focus of the image is a girl and boy sitting in a large-wheeled cart pulled by two yoked steers or oxen. The girl wears a white dress, the boy is wearing what looks like an outfit with a wide scarf/necktie and coboy-like hat; a man walks beside the cart, holding a rope attached to the yoke. Spectators stand and sit on the right side of the street, under a tree. 227 is printed in blue ink on the back of the photograph.
