The image is the top portion of a newspaper dated December 28, 1951 for The Chemical Division News (page 3). The headline reads, "Springfield Mutual Association Christmas Party," and has a long banner photograph below that showing a large group of people gathered around banquet tables. The caption below this photograph reads, "Mutual Association members were served a full turkey dinner at the Ivy House in West Springfield. Seventy Association members and their guests attended." Below that are two more photographs. The bottom left photograph shows someone in a Santa costume handing a gift over to a woman in a patterned dress and coat. The caption reads, "Mrs. Don Reynolds gets the second prize from Saint Nick. This prize, one of many given was a G-E ship's clock." The bottom right photograph shows a group of people sitting around a table as someone in a Santa costume reaches down towards one woman's place at the table and another man behnid her holds a box in his hands. The caption reads, "Santa (Irv Watson) is presenting the first gardenia of the many given to the ladies. First recipient is Ona Uchtman, Al Tompkin's guest. The men got cigars, here being distributed by Ed Midura."
