The headline of this clipping reads, "Springfield G-E Challengers Roll Over Holyoke Bowlers." The text of the column reads, "Last Friday night at Bowl-O-Drome a challenge match was held between five Holyoke Plant employees and five men fromt he General Electric Company in Spring-field. Sad to relate, the Holyoke boys lost the match by nine points./Representing Holyoke were, in the rear row, Chet Pasek, George Figler, Stan Brach, Ken O'Brien, and Nick Sarro. Bowling for Spring-field were Ed Midura, Paul Chrzan, Ed Ukeje [sic], Ed Rubis, and Emil Knapp./High single for the evening went to Emil Knapp of Springfield with 117; high three to Ken O'brien of Holyoke with 316." Then, the scores are listed with Edmund scoring 104, 112, and 91 for a total of 307.
