Spring Teen Programs at the CPL

The snow’s starting to melt and the library has all kinds of exciting plans for spring:

  • Board Games and Card Games on a Saturday (March 21 @ 1:00)
  • Minecraft Hunger Games (sign up for a team today!)
  • Robotics workshops, including a visit from Rhode Island Computer Museum
  • Video Editing
  • Anime Club
  • April Vacation Week (we’re showing the movie Tangled)
  • Manga Maki – a giant collaborative comic (Saturday May 16)

Yoga, rescheduled again

Yoga has been cancelled twice, due to snow, but we are determined to have this class! New dates, again: February 23, March 9, March 23. All classes will be Mondays @ 6pm. Sign up by calling, emailing, or stopping by the Children’s Desk. Try it! It’s a great way to beat the winter blues.

TeenSpace is the place to chill in January

  • Anime Club will meet on Thursdays, January 8 and 27 at 3:00. Teens ages 13+ are invited to watch anime, read manga, draw and discuss.
  • Teen Advisory Board will meet on Tuesday, January 13 at 3:00. This group of teens meets monthly to help plan and promote programs for their peers. Teens who live in Chicopee may count time spent at Teen Advisory Board towards volunteer hours for various school activities (National Honor Society, Key Club). Please ask a youth librarian for details.
