The clipping has the title "Meet In Hawaii" at the top, with a photo of two young men in white naval uniforms with an arm around one another and smiling to the camera. Below that is the caption "Victor and John Strycharz" and the text, "Chicopee, March 23--Victor and John Strycharz, both machinist's mates, third class, met recently in Hawaii for the first time in two years. They are the sons of Mr and Mrs Joseph Strycharz of 11 Charles street, Chicopee Falls. Both are graduates of Chicopee Trade school and were formerly employed at the City Tool and Die company in Springfield. / John Strycharz, 20, has been in the Seabees for two years, serving in the Pacific, and Victor E. Strycharz, 23, husband of the former Anne Moron of Chicopee, is now in the Pacific with the navy on an aircraft carrier. He has been in service a year."

Abstract

A Chicopee Falls newspaper describng the reunion of two brothers, Victor and John Strycharz, from Chicopee who met again in Hawai'i while serving in the Navy.
